Christopher Dreifus

PCC Trainee

Greetings, my name is Chris Dreifus, and I am a clinical counselor trainee enrolled as a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health program at Colorado Christian University. I also hold associate degrees from Moorpark College in Child/Adolescent Development, Psychology, and General Behavioral Studies, along with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University, Channel Islands.

My approach to therapy is more Existential, logotherapy, which focuses on making meaning in one's life, even during difficult times. Gestalt therapy, where we focus on the present. Clinical interests include anxiety, life transitions, grief counseling for adults & children, behavioral addictions, as well as spiritual formation which is focus on developing a relationship with Christ.

Thank you for inquiring about working together, as this is often the biggest hurdle when someone seeks counseling. When we work together, you are letting me into your life. The professional relationship that will be established through working together is an important and confidential one. You are the expert of your life; I am just tagging along. I create a space for exploration, not judgment, to explore yourself and your life at a deeper level than you may have before, on topics you may have had a hard time experiencing in the past, in the present, and even in the future.
I look forward to hearing from you.
