Ethan Chan
PCC Trainee
I believe that there's a strength and resilience within all of us, sometimes hidden, but always there. That belief is what drives me to walk alongside individuals in therapy, exploring self-discovery and healing together. I am currently pursuing my Master's in Counseling Psychology at Azusa Pacific University and my training has prepared me to support clients through the uncertainties and pressures of everyday life.
I ground my therapeutic approach in Person-Centered Therapy which allows clients to grow and uncover their inner strengths in a safe and non-judgmental environment. I aim to view the world through the eyes of the client and collaborate on solutions and personal growth. As an Asian-American, I understand the importance of cultural consideration and would like to tailor interventions that fit each client's unique environments. I also bring experience working with clients diagnosed with intellectual and mental health conditions that come from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.
Most importantly, I want my clients to know: I see you, I hear you, and I am here to walk with you on your journey toward living life to its fullest.
