Gwendolyn Hendrickson
PCC Trainee
I am currently completing my Clinical Mental Health Counseling training at Concordia University Irvine, where I am developing a strong foundation in multicultural awareness, ethical practice, and relational approaches to therapy. I feel especially called to walk alongside individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and seasons of transition. I also enjoy supporting clients as they explore their identity, values, and sense of purpose.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that each person has inherent worth and the capacity for growth. I draw from person‑centered, strengths‑based, and cognitive‑behavioral perspectives, always adapting to the unique needs of the person in front of me. My spirituality plays an important role in how I understand people; I hold a deep respect for each client’s story and seek to create a space where their beliefs and cultural background are honored. I aim to offer a supportive environment where clients feel safe to reflect, heal, and move toward greater emotional and spiritual well‑being.
