Hope Park
PCC Trainee
My passion is utilizing the expressive arts to help each individual on their healing journey. The therapeutic approach I offer is client centered, which gives the opportunity for unconditional positive regard, empathy, non-judgmental reflections of feelings and experiences. I currently have the following clinical and educational qualifications: Life Pacific University student in the Master of Arts in Counseling program, Expressive Arts National Certification Trainee, Traditional Eastern Brush Painting student, Qigong Teacher Certification, Kouksundo/국선도 student (Contemplative & Diaphragm Breathing).
I have first hand clinical experience in crisis intervention counseling where I also held remote group classes involving poetry therapy, journaling/art therapy, and contemplative breathing/movement. My approach to therapy and change is rooted in discovering a deeper understanding of behavior and an increased awareness of God’s love in the healing journey. I believe lasting change requires identifying our subconscious fears, developing unique tools for each individual to have insight into internal thoughts, and faith in healing wounds at a pace that both the body as well as the mind can process. I specialize in suicidal ideation, depression, substance abuse, addiction, anxiety, spiritual attack/occult trauma, anger management, and gender dysphoria.
