Katheryn de Arakal
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #122157
I believe we are created for relationships—with others, with God, and even with ourselves. I desire for clients to uncover how past and current relationships influence our behavior, thoughts, and feelings in order to bring about change and healing. I am Level 3 trained in the Gottman Couples Method, having skills in guiding couples of all ages and stages in managing conflict and building a stronger friendship.
At Emmaus Road I have the privilege serving as a Clinical Supervisor, overseeing the training and practice of therapists in training. Additionally, I am the Clinical Director and an Assistant Professor of Azusa Pacific University’s Department of Marriage and Family Therapy, which also happens to be my alma mater.
I look forward to learning more about you!
