Marcia Durazo

I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of therapy—both in my own healing journey and in the lives of those close to me. I’ve seen how therapy can bring restoration from childhood trauma, chronic stress, and anxiety. These experiences, along with over 20 years of marriage and raising four children, have given me a deep, personal understanding of the challenges that come with relationships, parenting, and life transitions. I believe that healing is possible, and together we’ll explore tools such as effective communication, healthy coping strategies, and self-compassion—while embracing the growth that God has planned for you. It is my honor to walk alongside you, offering support grounded in both clinical knowledge and spiritual insight.

I am currently completing my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Azusa Pacific University. I view therapy as a form of ministry and feel blessed to serve as a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee with The Emmaus Road Counseling team. My approach is rooted in compassion, faith, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. I look forward to joining you on your healing journey.
