Maryan Marcos

MFT Trainee

“The most important relationship in your life is the one you have with yourself.” This belief is at the heart of my work as a therapist. I see therapy as a sacred space—a place where individuals can slow down, listen inwardly, and begin to heal through honest reflection and compassionate connection. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Biola University, where my academic and clinical training are deepening my ability to walk alongside clients through a variety of emotional and relational challenges.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and deep respect for each person’s lived experience. I draw from a client-centered perspective that integrates mental health and faith, holding space for clients to explore the complexities of who they are—emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. I welcome individuals, couples, families, and adolescents into the therapeutic process, with a special focus on those navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, identity issues, spiritual struggles, and family conflict.

As someone from a Middle Eastern background and fluent in Arabic, I offer a culturally sensitive and inclusive environment for clients from diverse communities. I consider it a privilege to witness the strength and vulnerability that clients bring into the room, and I am committed to helping them feel seen, safe, and supported as they work toward healing and greater wholeness.
