Rylyne Lopez

MFT Trainee

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist trainee at Hope International University, earning my master’s degree. I am a student, a sister, a daughter, but most importantly, I am a child of God. My identity in Christ and my personal experience of God’s healing grace in my life shaped my heart for therapy. My approach to therapy integrates evidence-based techniques with faith. It is my goal to cultivate a collaborative relationship based on compassion and understanding. I hope to create a sense of safety in a non-judgmental, empathetic environment that allows my clients to explore and uncover their emotions towards growth and peace.

My experiences as a child cultivated a deep sense of empathy and compassion for kids and teenagers who struggle to process their overwhelming emotions and life-adjusting stressors. My professional experience working with children and adolescents furthered my passion for working with children and their families. I am open to working with all populations, from kids to couples to families. Along with working with a variety of adversities, such as anxiety, trauma, depression, life-stressors, and spiritual or identity struggles. I want my clients to know that I consider it a privilege to work with them through their journey of growth and healing.
