Sophia Leiss

MFT Trainee

As a Christian therapist trainee, my lifelong walk with the Lord has deeply shaped who I am and how I show up in the therapy room. From a young age, I’ve experienced God’s grace and guidance, which has given me a heart for walking alongside others through life’s challenges. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Psychology from the University of California, Davis and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Counseling Psychology at Jessup University. Through professional and volunteer experience, I have had the privilege of working with children, teens, adults, and families, supporting them through emotional, relational, and spiritual healing.

I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. My approach integrates evidence-based practices with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and faith-informed care. Whether working through anxiety, grief, family conflict, or spiritual questions, I believe healing happens through safe and authentic connection. It’s an honor to partner with individuals and families as they move toward growth, wholeness, and the life God has called them to live.
