Valerie Chavez

MFT Trainee

I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee pursuing my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, with a bachelor's in psychology. My hands on experience consists of working with at risk youth and individuals navigating trauma, behavioral health challenges, and complex life circumstances. Therefore, my clinical interests center on trauma, anxiety, depression, identity development, and life transitions particularly those shaped by early stress or systemic barriers.

I believe healing happens when people feel genuinely safe, seen, and met exactly where they are not where they think they should be. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I draw on curiosity and human connection to help clients reconnect with their own strengths and move toward change that actually lasts.

I also hold space for spirituality in an open, respectful way, honoring that each person's beliefs and worldview are deeply their own. If you're looking for a space where you can show up honestly and move at your own pace, I’d love to support that journey.
